| Since 1979, Traffic Transportation Engineering has provided Traffic and Transportation Engineering expertise to developers and engineers for land use traffic impact studies and other traffic related issues. Primary focus has been to provide expert witness assistance in Traffic Engineering/Accident Reconstruction to attorneys for cases in Federal, State and Local courts in southeast Louisiana and Mississippi. These cases, both for plaintiff and defense, in the private, insurance, governmental agency sectors (LDOTD, Parishes and Cities), involve a full range analysis for vehicles (cars, tractor/trailers, small trucks, buses, trailers, carts/all-terrain, motorcycles, bicycles, trains) and pedestrians (walking, rollerblading, and other traffic related issues) in streets and parking areas. This includes on-site accident investigation, accident reconstruction (point-of-impact, direction, speed, simulation), and traffic engineering analysis of traffic control devices and operations/geometric design. Case workload experience is estimated at least 475 formal cases, not including over a thousand accident reports/locations analyzed for safety purposes.
